Terms of Service

By accessing or using TechStackJobs ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@techstackjobs.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false information, or are used for fraudulent purposes.

Job seekers may browse listings, apply to roles, and manage applications at no cost. There are no premium tiers or paywalls for seeker functionality.

By submitting an application, you authorize us to share your application materials (resume, cover note, and profile information) with the employer who posted the listing.

You agree not to submit fraudulent applications, misrepresent your qualifications, or use automated tools to mass-apply to listings.

Employers may post job listings on the Platform under either the Free plan (up to 3 active listings) or the Pro plan ($49/month for unlimited listings).

All job listings must be for real, currently open positions. Ghost postings, data-harvesting listings, and roles that misrepresent compensation, location, or responsibilities are prohibited.

Employers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for complying with all applicable employment laws, including anti-discrimination laws, in their jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to remove listings that violate these Terms or our content policies without notice.

Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly at $49/month via Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. Price changes do not apply retroactively to the current billing period.

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform ("User Content"), including resumes, cover notes, profile information, and job listings.

By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

You agree not to:

• •Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• •Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform without written permission
• •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
• •Distribute malware, spam, or unsolicited communications through the Platform
• •Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or security measures
• •Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or bans
• •Post discriminatory, harassing, or misleading content

The Platform, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is owned by TechStackJobs and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform or its content without our prior written consent. "TechStackJobs" and our logo are trademarks of TechStackJobs.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that listings are accurate, that employers will respond to applications, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We are not a party to any employment relationship formed through the Platform. We do not vet, endorse, or guarantee any employer, job seeker, or listing.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechStackJobs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual property rights) will survive.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
